THOUSAND ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK is one of Canada's smallest national parks with a total area of 24.4 sq km (9.4 sq mi). Much of the park is only accessible by boat. It consists of 21 islands plus many smaller islets, 2 mainland properties and a visitor centre at Mallorytown, Ontario on the mainland.
